Steelhead Metal & Fab LLC was founded in 1999, located on 5 acres in Salem Oregon. We are an AISC Certified fabricator, Approved by the City of Los Angeles and dozens of State, County and Municipal agencies across the country.

Our quality commitment is “To design, produce and deliver products that meet or exceed our customer’s requirements and expectations”. To assure this we operate thorough defect prevention programs utilizing a skilled, totally involved workforce, trained according to need and seeking continuous improvement in all phases of our operations.

As we enter our third decade, we are proud of and dedicated to the relationships we have built with our Customers, Vendors and Employees. Steelhead will continue to expand our production capabilities, integrate technologies and implement best practices to become an even better Supplier, Customer and Employer.

Manufacturing

The relationship with the owners and general contractors for manufacturing projects is crucial. Using open communications is just one of the ways Steelhead is able to consistency deliver on large projects while exceeding customer expectations. Steelhead is able to support a wide range of manufacturing needs and projects.

Logistics

Our engineered steel products are supplied nationally and distributed from Oregon. We strive to create the most effective logistical solutions to keep projects on time and on budget.

Process and Quality Assurance

Steelhead works from the beginning of the process to complete on-site completion. The team reviews all drawings and specs in the quoting process to ensure the full scope and requirements are determined upfront and nothing is overlooked.

Steelhead is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) as both a Simple Certified Bridge Fabricator (SBR), and as a Certified Building Fabricator (BU). We employ a highly-skilled and experienced in-house engineering department. Our team utilizes highly refined quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) systems and standards that exceed industry norms.
